Matcha Protein Latte

Let’s talk Matcha!

Matcha latte’s have become extremely popular and have even become a trend on social media platforms like Tik Tok. With having to stay home due to coronavirus, Starbucks is out of the question (unfortunately). If you are like myself , before work or after work I would usually make a Starbucks run for one of their many delicious drinks. A matcha latte was always one of the few drinks I enjoyed! 🍵

Matcha is not only very tasty, but very beneficial to your health as well. A few benefits you can receive from matcha are:

  • Antioxidants

  • Metabolism booster

  • Calorie burner

  • Detox

  • Calms and relaxes body

  • Rich in fiber

These are just a few of the many benefits matcha has to offer.

I’ve gotten a little creative and made my own Matcha Protein latte which not only tastes great but adds a more filling aspect to the drink. This drink is healthy and delicious and can be drank as a snack, or after a workout!😋



  1. Take a tsp of matcha powder & mix with hot water

  2. You want to whisk the matcha until it becomes frothy, or until the powder is completely liquified

  3. Pour matcha mixture into blender

  4. Take one scoop of your preferred protein powder (I love the isopure vanilla protein) and add to blender

  5. Add a tsp of sugar (optional)

  6. Add oat milk or whatever milk you prefer. Other suggestions are soy milk, almond or coconut milk

  7. Blend

  8. Take your cup, I use a mason jar and add some ice cubes

  9. Take blended mixture and pour into cup

  10. Enjoy! 😋🍵
