With everyone required to stay at home during this pandemic, it is extremely important to ensure you are getting some form of physical activity throughout your day. This could be as simple as going for a walk, jog, playing with your pet or dancing around the house while cleaning.


If you want to take your physical activity ups notch, this at home leg and glutei workout is killer and will most definitely aid with growing those quad and glutei muscles!




For this workout the only thing that is recommended is weights. It is important to incorporate weights because you will be creating small tears in your muscles (it may sound weird, scary) but do not worry, these are not bad things.


After working out you need to replenish your body with essential nutrients and macronutrients such as protein. When you replenish the body with protein it breaks it down into amino acids which help repair the tears in the muscle created by you working out, which makes it bigger and stronger!


Okay enough talking about the components that go into the workout, lets actually work this booty out!


Things you’ll need:

weights

protein (my preferred protein is Isopure Vanilla)


Workout:


Warm up (5-10 minutes)


Circuit includes:


  • Squats 20 reps with weight

  • Jumping lunges 10 reps (in between each workout)

  • Dumbbell deadlift 20 reps

  • Jumping lunges 10 reps

  • Kneel squat to jump squat 10 reps (add weight if you can)

  • Jumping lunges 10 reps

  • Side lunges 10 reps on each side

  • Jumping lunges 10 reps

Break for 3 minutes in between each set

Repeat circuit 3 times for a total of 4 sets!
